In the 2025 World Happiness Report ranking, Uzbekistan took 53rd place among 147 countries. This study considered factors such as income, health, level of trust, freedom of choice, and the support provided by society, as well as how residents assess their own quality of life.
As in previous years, Finland was again named the happiest country in the world. Afghanistan remained at the bottom.
Among Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan became the happiest country in the region, ranking 40th. It was followed by Uzbekistan (53rd), Kyrgyzstan (64th), Tajikistan (80th), and Turkmenistan (91st).
The ranking was compiled with the participation of the UN and is based on surveys from 2022–2024. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
