The number of people traveling without paying tolls has increased sharply in Tashkent

The intensified inspections carried out to control payment discipline in Tashkent’s public transport identified nearly 3,000 violators in just 10 days. This was reported by the Ministry of Transport.

According to the statement, special inspectors conduct daily checks on buses, metrobuses, and other routes, taking administrative measures against citizens who intentionally travel without paying the fare.

The Ministry called on the public to follow the established rules and emphasized that timely fare payment is very important for the stable operation of the public transport system and for improving service quality. It was stated that the inspections will continue in the coming days.
