Uz-Hanwoo acquires Andijan plant for 43.1 billion som

The Auto Fortis factory in Andijan, specializing in the production of automobile steering wheels, has been privatized. According to E-auction data, the factory was acquired by Uz-Hanwoo.

At the conclusion of the deal, the factory was valued at 43.1 billion soums. Uz-Hanwoo emerged victorious in the bidding process by offering 27.4 percent higher than the initial price.

As part of the privatization terms, the company is obligated to maintain the factory’s current operational focus for at least ten years. This Andijan factory, established in 2010, will now merge with Uz-Hanwoo.

Uz-Hanwoo, which has already been operating in the region, will expand its capabilities in manufacturing automobile spare parts through this new agreement. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
