Uzbekistan to Allow Individual Entrepreneurs to Use Brand Names


The process of obtaining licenses and permits in Uzbekistan will be significantly simplified. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice, citing a presidential decree.

Starting from January 2026, individual entrepreneurs (IEs) will be granted the right to have their own brand name. Additionally, if there are changes in personal data for IEs, modifications to documents, licenses, and permits will be made automatically and free of charge.

Entrepreneurs will have access to necessary services and be able to make payments through a unified QR code. Furthermore, a voluntary pre-assessment system for documents required to obtain licenses and permits will be introduced.
