President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has approved the establishment of new "Business Companion" centers. These centers will operate based on the "single window" principle, providing all government and private services for entrepreneurs in one location—from business registration to export assistance.
These centers will be established under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Entrepreneurs will have access to services such as accounting, taxation, certification, export consultancy, as well as use banking, insurance, brokerage, and logistics services.
For convenience, a unified electronic platform and a 24/7 call center will also be launched. During the presentation, the President also discussed plans to increase export volumes.
Uzbekistan aims to increase its export volume to $45 billion by 2030. Analyses show that the country has significant potential to expand the supply of construction materials, textiles, electrical equipment, food products, household chemicals, machinery, and metallurgical products.
