Pakistan joins Trump’s “Peace Board” on Gaza

Pakistan has announced that it has joined the “Peace Board” established on the initiative of former U.S. President Donald Trump to achieve peace on the Gaza issue. The announcement was made by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in an official statement.
According to the ministry, Pakistan hopes that concrete steps will be taken under this initiative to implement a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, increase humanitarian aid, and rebuild destroyed areas. Officials emphasized that ensuring the safety of civilians is a top priority.
Reports say that Pakistan’s army chief Asim Munir has traveled to Davos to attend events of the World Economic Forum. It is also said that a meeting with Donald Trump may take place together with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The “Peace Board on Gaza” was established late last year with the aim of resolving global conflicts. According to the U.S. side, more than 20 countries have so far expressed interest in joining the initiative, and Pakistan joined the board at Trump’s invitation.
