Cold weather and strong winds are expected in Uzbekistan on December 9–10. In foothill and mountainous areas, rain and snow are forecast in some locations, with occasional heavy precipitation and fog.
In the mountainous regions of Tashkent and Namangan provinces, the risk of avalanches remains high. In northern and desert areas, wind speeds are predicted to increase to 15–18 m/s, reaching 20–22 m/s in some places.
In central regions, nighttime temperatures are expected to be between −2°C and −5°C, while daytime temperatures will range from 3°C to 6°C. In northern areas, nighttime temperatures will drop to −7°C to −10°C, with daytime temperatures between −3°C and 0°C.
Tashkent is forecast to have partly cloudy skies with rain. Wind speeds will range from 3–8 m/s, nighttime temperatures will be 1°C to 3°C, while daytime temperatures will range from 5°C to 7°C.
In Karakalpakstan and Khorezm province, partly cloudy skies are forecast, with rain and snow expected in some places, and fog likely to form. Wind speeds will be 7–12 m/s, nighttime temperatures will range from −5°C to −10°C, and daytime temperatures will be between 0°C and 5°C.
In Bukhara and Navoi provinces, rain is expected in some areas. Wind speeds will be 7–12 m/s, nighttime temperatures will range from −2°C to −3°C, and daytime temperatures will rise to 7°C to 12°C.
In Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya provinces, rain is expected in some areas. Wind speeds will be 7–12 m/s, nighttime temperatures will range from −2°C to −3°C, and daytime temperatures will range from 3°C to 8°C.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya provinces, rain is expected in some areas. Wind speeds will be 7–12 m/s, nighttime temperatures will range from 2°C to 7°C, while daytime temperatures will increase to 12°C to 17°C.
In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana provinces, partly cloudy skies are forecast with rain in some locations. Wind speeds will be 7–12 m/s, nighttime temperatures will range from −2°C to −3°C, and daytime temperatures will be between 3°C and 8°C.
In mountainous areas, rain and snow are expected, with occasional heavy precipitation, fog, and wind speeds of 7–12 m/s. Nighttime and daytime temperatures will range between −4°C and −1°C.
