Asadbek and Muzaffar became Asian champions

On October 26, 2025, at the Asian Games held in Bahrain, Uzbekistan's muay thai representatives Asadbek Turdiboyev and Muzaffar Norkhojaev won gold medals. In the under-15 age category, in the 51 kg weight class, Asadbek Turdiboyev convincingly defeated the Iraqi representative in the final.

In the under-17 age category, in the 54 kg weight class, Muzaffar Norkhojaev, thanks to his technical and speed advantage, outperformed the Cambodian athlete, bringing Uzbekistan to 12th place.
