Italy loses to Norway, falls behind in group

On November 17, 2025, the Italian national football team suffered a 1-3 defeat against Norway at the San Siro stadium. Gennaro Gattuso's team initially took the lead but failed to maintain it.

A few minutes later, Italy made a mistake in the midfield. Torsby seized possession and launched an attack.

He passed the ball to the center, and Haaland sent it into the net with a single strike — 1-3. From this point, Italy's chances of recovery were nearly nonexistent.

In the 90th minute, Norway orchestrated another rapid attack. Torsby passed the ball to Strand Larsen.

Larsen received the ball and entered the penalty area along with Mancini. He moved to the center and aimed for the left post, bringing the final score to 1-4.
