A new cargo air route has been launched between Wenzhou, China, and Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. This route has been opened in alignment with the global trading season, particularly timed for the "Black Friday" shopping period.
This was reported by the "Xinhua" news agency. The updated route strengthens the logistics network for exporters in Zhejiang Province and neighboring regions.
The first B767 aircraft, operated by Centrum Air, took off from Longwan Airport in Wenzhou carrying 50 tons of goods destined for Central Asia. It was recorded as the first cargo flight from this city to the region.
With this route's opening, Wenzhou Airport now operates 11 international cargo routes, covering Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, and Central Asia. These routes create an additional transit platform for delivering Chinese products to European markets based on cross-border e-commerce.
