Akron vs Pari NN: Visitors Secure Victory

Pari NN team returned from Tolyatti with a victory. They defeated Akron 2–1 in the 17th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL).

The home team managed to get back into the game due to a goal by Artem Dzyuba, but they could not improve the result further. Pari NN began the match more actively and opened the scoring as early as the 15th minute.

Xuan Boselli crossed the ball into the penalty area from the right wing, Daniil Lesovoy seized the ball and defeated Gudiev — 0–1. A few minutes later, Boselli created another dangerous moment: his shot hit Maksim Boldyrev's hand.

After a VAR review, the referee awarded a penalty. In the 34th minute, Boselli confidently directed the ball into the right corner, making the score 0–2.

The home team, through the active efforts of Pestraykov and Lesovoy, tried to respond but were unable to create real chances: Gudiev and the defenders kept the situation under control. In the second half, Akron improved its game.

Rocha tried to pass the ball more frequently to Dzyuba, while Grulev and Olusegun exerted pressure from the flanks. In the 57th minute, the home team reduced the deficit: 57′ Artem Dzyuba scored, making it 1–2.

Bistrovich delivered a low cross into the penalty area, Dzyuba turned with the ball and made an accurate strike past Medvedev. After the goal, Akron intensified their pressure.

Chances arose for Rocha, Olusegun, and Grulev, but they failed to score a second goal: their shots went off target or the visitors' goalkeeper performed well. In the 85th minute, the Nizhny Novgorod team scored a third goal: 85′ Andrey Ivlev, after a one-two play with Tikich, shot from a distance of 12 meters — 1–3.

However, two minutes later, the goal was disallowed due to a VAR intervention, as Ivlev was in an offside position during Tikich's pass. Subsequently, Pari NN maintained control of the game and prevented Akron from launching any final attacks.
