Ozon Bank Introduces Cards for Uzbek Citizens

Russia's Ozon Bank has started issuing debit cards for citizens of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and other countries. This service is available to residents of more than 90 countries.
To obtain the card, foreign nationals need to present a passport and documents confirming their legal stay in Russia. The card allows withdrawing up to 3 million rubles (462.5 million som) per month, making money transfers, purchasing on the Ozon platform with discounts, and earning cashback.
The bank plans to expand the number of countries where card issuance will be available in the future. Ozon Bank was established in 2022, based on the former "Oney Bank," which operated in the Russian market between 2013 and 2021.
Since July of this year, Ozon Bank has been subject to EU sanctions. However, the financial institution has not been disconnected from the SWIFT system, although certain restrictions have been imposed on transactions.
