Rolls-Royce unveils new two-seater electric convertible

Luxury carmaker Rolls-Royce has unveiled a new two-seater electric convertible.
The BMW-owned brand will hand-assemble the car at its Goodwood factory in the UK. The model, dubbed Project Nightingale, is scheduled to be delivered to customers in 2028, with a total of 100 units to be built.
According to the company, the electric car will be powered entirely by an electric motor and will be virtually silent.
Rolls-Royce has previously said it will switch to electric-only models from 2030 and will continue to produce petrol-powered cars in the future.
The Project Nightingale is 5.76 metres long and is similar in size to the Phantom. The car's design features a long bonnet and a torpedo-shaped body.
The design concept is inspired by the 1920s EX series experimental cars and the art deco style.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars CEO Chris Brownridge said that the new project was created in response to the highest demands of the brand's customers.
The company did not disclose the price of the car, but it is said that it will belong to the very high-value exclusive segment, that is, it can be located in the market range from 500 thousand to 20 million pounds.
