Mass wedding ceremony held in Gaza with 300 couples

On April 24, a large-scale mass wedding ceremony was organized in the center of the Gaza Strip with the participation of 300 couples. According to Al Jazeera, the event was held with the support of the United Arab Emirates.

It was reported that this is one of the largest collective weddings in Gaza, attended by thousands of guests, including families, community leaders, and representatives of local and international organizations. According to the organizers, approximately 20,000 people participated in the ceremony.

This initiative was launched under the slogan 'Joy Dress 2' as part of the 'Gallant Knight 3' humanitarian operation carried out by the UAE. The main goal of the program is to support young people facing financial difficulties on the verge of marriage and to provide them with practical assistance in starting their new lives.

It was noted that the couples were selected from thousands of candidates. During the selection process, priority was given to Gaza residents who had never been married before and whose social status and income level met the established criteria.

The project not only organized the wedding ceremony but also provided material and financial support to the new families. Specifically, wedding expenses were covered, and essential items for their initial household needs were provided.

The festive event combined traditional and official elements. Quranic recitations were heard, marriages were officially announced, and Palestinian national 'dabke' dance was performed, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for the participants.
