Central Asian salad Shakarob ranks 42nd in worst dishes ranking
TasteAtlas, a gastronomic encyclopedia, has published a ranking of the world’s 100 worst dishes. In this list, Shakarob, a salad popular in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, ranked 42nd.

According to TasteAtlas, Shakarob is described as follows:
"Shakarob is a simple salad originating from Central Asia, especially popular in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. It consists of tomatoes, onions, salt, ground red and black pepper. The tomatoes and onions are thinly sliced, seasoned with spices, and the salad is ready to eat. It can be served in small portions or as a garnish with meat and rice."

The top spot in the ranking went to Sweden’s blood pancakes, Blodplettar. Finland’s Blodpalt, made with rye flour and animal blood, came second, while Sweden’s hamburger-and-fries pizza, Kalskrov, ranked third.
