Stress Destroys Your Brain

Stress Destroys Your Brain
When life is fast-paced and stress levels are high, people often walk into a room and forget why they came, or struggle to focus on simple tasks. This condition is called “brain fog” and appears as difficulty concentrating, forgetfulness, and slowed thinking.

The first step to reducing brain fog is to be kind to yourself. It is not a personal failure, but a sign that your brain is tired or stressed. Breaking tasks into smaller parts, asking for help, and doing work gradually is beneficial.

Creating routines and taking short breaks also helps. Setting a morning and evening routine in advance, and scheduling 5–10 minute breaks between tasks, helps reset the brain, reduce stress, and prepare for the next task.

Using reminders and calendars makes managing tasks easier. Healthy sleep, adequate water, physical activity, proper nutrition, and stress reduction are key factors in restoring brain function.
