Night work dramatically increases the risk of heart attack

According to the results of large-scale scientific research, working at night and in the pre-dawn hours poses a serious threat to human health. Observations involving a total of 320,000 participants showed that working night shifts increases the likelihood of heart attack by 16%, and the risk of cardiovascular diseases by 79%.
Analyses conducted by American Heart Association specialists among individuals aged 39 to 74 also confirmed this conclusion. Scientists emphasize that daytime physical exercises or an active lifestyle cannot completely eliminate the negative effects of night work and sleep disorders.
According to experts, if it is not possible to abandon the night work schedule, it is recommended to rest until noon, get enough sleep, and give up unhealthy habits to at least partially reduce the harm to health.
