On the night of November 5th to 6th, 2025, the brightest and final full moon of the year — the Beaver Supermoon — will be observed in the sky over Uzbekistan. At that time, the Moon will approach the Earth at its closest distance — 356,832 kilometers — and as a result, it will appear larger and brighter than usual.
According to astronomers, the full moon will begin at 18:19 Tashkent time, and the Moon will get as close as possible to the Earth after midnight. In almost all regions of the country, the supermoon can be seen on the evening of November 5th, right after sunset.
In Tashkent, the Moon is expected to rise between approximately 16:45 and 17:00, and within half an hour it will climb significantly above the horizon. If the sky is clear, the Moon can be observed throughout the entire night, until the morning of November 6th.
Astronomers recommend observing from open locations where there is a good view of the eastern or southeastern horizon. Especially when the Moon is near the horizon, it will appear larger than usual.
