Six Uzbek children left homeless in Russia have been repatriated

Six children from Uzbekistan who were left without care in various regions of Russia have been returned to the country, the press service of the Children's Ombudsman of Uzbekistan reports.

It is noted that the Children's Ombudsman sent an appeal to his colleague in Russia, asking him to take the necessary measures to return the unsupervised minors to their homeland. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs requested assistance in temporarily placing the children in children's institutions in Russia until their return to Uzbekistan.

Thanks to the prompt measures taken by Russia, decent living conditions have been created for children. As a result, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan brought home two children from St. Petersburg, one from Moscow, one from the Moscow region, one from Kazan (Tatarstan), and one from the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria.
