It was reported that in the Asaka district of the Andijan region, a man stabbed his wife and caused the woman's death. According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, the incident occurred on January 27 at approximately 3:30 PM.
It is noted that O.U., who works at the school, quarreled with her husband O.M., who works with her, after a family disagreement. After that, he repeatedly inflicted bodily harm on the woman with a household knife he had brought, as a result of which she died at the scene.
The report states that after the incident, the man returned to his residence and injured himself. His brother saw him and took him to the hospital, where his life was saved thanks to the medical care provided. A criminal case has been initiated against the man under part 1 of Article 97 of the Criminal Code.
