One Dead in Samarkand Accident

A fatal traffic accident occurred in the city of Samarkand on November 15 at approximately 2:05 PM at the intersection of Nodirabegim and Cholpon streets. According to the Samarkand City Department of Internal Affairs, the driver of a Damas-2 vehicle, while making a left turn, failed to yield to an Onix car approaching from the opposite direction, veering into the opposing lane and causing a collision between the two vehicles.

As a result of the collision, two passengers in the Damas-2 sustained severe injuries and were transported to the hospital. Despite medical assistance, one of the injured passengers succumbed to their injuries.

The investigative department under the Samarkand City Department of Internal Affairs has initiated a criminal case regarding the incident. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
