The Pension Fund’s press service released official information on January payments. Under the current procedure, pension funds are usually transferred to pensioners’ bank plastic cards by the 5th of each month, while cash payments are made between January 4 and 27. However, due to the New Year holidays, December 31 through January 4 have been designated as nationwide days off, making the question of when January pensions will be credited especially relevant.
According to the Fund’s explanation, pension expenditures are financed under the law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” which is approved annually. Following the approval of the State Budget law for 2026, pension funds for citizens receiving payments via plastic cards will begin to be transferred starting January 5.
Thus, from January 5, 2026, the Pension Fund will begin financing organizations that deliver pension funds. January pensions will be credited to plastic cards on January 5, and until January 27, cash will be delivered daily via People’s Bank mobile cash desks in the regions or to citizens’ places of residence.
