In Tashkent, one of the extreme incidents widely spread on social media. A 38-year-old man, under the influence of alcohol, attempted to jump off a bridge, and the incident was captured on video. On January 3rd, at 19:18, a highly dangerous event occurred near the "Qoyliq" market in the Bektamir district of Tashkent. Security service officers quickly arrived at the scene and saved the person from the imminent threat.
Currently, the Bektamir District IIOFB is conducting an investigation and inquiry into this case. As the incident has spread widely on social media, public reactions are being formed.
In our country, more preventive measures need to be implemented to prevent suicide attempts or self-harm among people under stress or in an intoxicated state.
