Uzbekistan is struggling to promptly unload grain-filled railcars arriving from Kazakhstan. As a result, railcars are piling up, particularly at the Saryagash station in the Turkistan region of Kazakhstan.
This was reported by "APK News." "This situation is leading to inefficient railcar standstills, significantly increasing turnaround times on the Central Asia route," stated a press release from Kazakhstan’s freight transport company "Astyk Trans."
Due to this, "Astyk Trans" was forced to postpone some shipments planned for November to upcoming months. The company noted that they are employing all possible measures to accelerate railcar turnover, stabilize the transport schedule, and minimize the impact on their clients.
