On Sunday, the Red Devils were knocked out of the FA Cup: they lost 1–2 to Brighton at Old Trafford. It is expected that in the next match the team will already take the field under a new head coach.
According to Fletcher, the next manager must first of all restore the team’s confidence, bring consistency to their play, and unite the players around a single goal. He said it is important to build confidence through results, while attractive football comes at the next stage: for that, the right approach must be found, followed by relentless work, a positive mindset, and maximum commitment.
