Kompany calls Bayern’s 8-1 win unusual

Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany assessed his team’s performance after an emphatic 8-1 Bundesliga win over Wolfsburg, euro-football.ru reports reports .
The Munich side went into the break leading 2-1, then scored six unanswered goals in the second half to put the result beyond doubt.
“This isn’t something normal, and it shouldn’t be taken for granted. The first half wasn’t easy. I said: Wolfsburg are strong in attack; they don’t need many chances to score. Still, we were confident that once the opponent got a bit tired, we would become more dangerous up front. In the end, that’s what happened.”
“We can see that even at 5-1, 6-1, 7-1 the guys keep running and pressing and keep looking for another goal. I really like that. We have things to be proud of, but of course we can get even stronger,” Kompany told DAZN.
After 16 rounds, Bayern top the Bundesliga table.
