The Tashkent City Administration and the United Kingdom's UK Export Finance (UKEF) fund are planning to sign an agreement on the transportation and recycling of construction waste, the administration announced. British experts are expected to assist in establishing modern lines for sorting and recycling construction waste.
The primary goal of the project is to increase the share of recycled materials and introduce technologies for their reuse. “This project aims to create a modern, environmentally safe, and investment-attractive system for managing construction waste in Tashkent,” the city administration stated in its press release.
According to the capital’s administration, the parties plan to sign the agreement in the first quarter of next year.
