Uzbekistan Airways Addresses A320 Issues

Uzbekistan Airways explains A320 issues

Uzbekistan Airways has provided a statement regarding software issues in A320 aircraft. According to Reuters, the European airline manufacturer Airbus announced a recall of software updates for 6,000 aircraft.

A company representative told Kursiv Uzbekistan, «As of now, we are uncertain which aircraft in the Uzbekistan Airways fleet might be affected by this process or whether any of our aircraft will be involved at all. For now, we will have to wait,» the statement emphasized.

Airbus noted that issues related to the flight control systems in A320 aircraft could potentially arise. These issues might be linked to high levels of solar radiation.

The company emphasized that it is working in collaboration with aviation authorities. According to Kommersant, Air France has canceled 35 flights to enable software updates, while Japan’s All Nippon Airways has grounded more than 60 domestic flights for inspections.
