Doctor's wrong injection leads to woman's death in Samarkand

In Samarkand Region, in the Payaarik District, a 33-year-old woman died after an incorrect injection in a private clinic.
Reports have spread on social media that a 33-year-old woman passed away in a private clinic in the Payaarik district of Samarkand region due to an incorrectly administered injection. The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office confirmed her death.
It is reported that the incident occurred on January 12. Currently, the prosecutor’s office is conducting a pre-investigation. A forensic examination has been assigned to determine the exact cause of her death.
Similar cases involving incorrect injections occurred in November 2024 in the city of Shahrisabz in the Kashkadarya region. There, a 28-year-old woman was given an incorrect antibiotic injection with "Ceftriaxone" and "Dexamethasone" for treating angina. Despite receiving medical help, her condition worsened, and she died at the scene.
Additionally, in April 2025, an 11-year-old child died following a medical procedure in Bukhara.
Investigations are currently underway, and the relatives of the deceased are working to hold the doctors responsible.
