In Namangan, 42 million was recovered from a father who failed to pay alimony

In Namangan region, a large amount of debt was fully recovered from a father who had failed to fulfill alimony payment obligations for a long time. As a result of explanatory work carried out by state enforcement officers of the Yangi Namangan district department of the Compulsory Enforcement Bureau, an alimony debt of 42 million soums was settled.

It was reported that, based on a ruling of the Namangan inter-district civil court, alimony was ordered to be collected in favor of citizen M.M. for the maintenance of one child. However, due to the debtor’s prolonged failure to fulfill the established obligation, a total debt of 42 million soums had accumulated.

The state enforcement officer thoroughly explained to the debtor the legal requirements, the consequences of non-payment of alimony, and issues of legal liability. After that, the debtor realized his obligation and fully paid off the alimony debt.

The CEB authorities stated that consistent work is ongoing to protect the interests of minors and to ensure the timely and full recovery of alimony payments.
