Major crash in central Tashkent: six cars collide (video)

On the evening of January 14, a serious traffic accident occurred in central Tashkent, in front of the Alay Bazaar. Preliminary reports indicate a chain collision involving at least six vehicles.
Witnesses and the provided photos show KIA, BYD, Malibu-2, Tracker, Cobalt and Jetour vehicles, traveling in the same direction, crashing into one another. As a result, the front ends of several cars were severely damaged, and some vehicles lost the ability to move.

Because the incident happened on a busy stretch of road, traffic in the area was temporarily disrupted. Photos show drivers and passengers gathering around cars stopped in the middle of the road, with some trying to push the vehicles to the roadside.
No official information has been released yet on whether there were any injuries. Road patrol officers arrived at the scene to investigate the causes and restore traffic safety.
Experts urge drivers to strictly follow traffic rules, especially in the evening and at crowded intersections—keep a safe distance and avoid speeding. In central Tashkent, such inattention during heavy traffic can lead to major crashes.
