On November 30, 2025, a fire incident occurred in the Yashnobod district of Tashkent city. The incident took place around 4:30 PM in a multi-story residential building located in the “Istiqlol” neighborhood.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire was caused by a short circuit in electrical wires connected to a greenhouse. The affected area was approximately 80 square meters.
Five fire trucks and more than 20 rescue personnel were dispatched to the scene. The fire was completely extinguished within 30 minutes.
No injuries or casualties were reported as a result of the incident. Since the fire was contained in time and prevented from spreading to other buildings, significant damage was avoided.
The Yashnobod district administration issued an official statement regarding the incident, reminding residents to strictly adhere to safety measures.
Authorities are continuing inspections related to fire safety. Monitoring the technical condition of electrical wires and equipment has been designated as a priority issue.
This incident has once again highlighted the importance of vigilance among citizens and the necessity of taking preventive measures seriously.
