Former striker of the Italian national team, Luca Toni, shared his thoughts ahead of the team’s upcoming spring playoff matches. He advised the Italian national team not to fear their opponents and to trust in their own strength.

"We must not fear the teams we have to play against. It is important to unite around the goal.

Failing to qualify for the World Cup once again would be extremely, extremely disappointing. I hope that all the players will contribute to helping the team," Toni said in an interview with pianetamilan.it.
