An Internal Affairs Department officer went missing in Jizzakh, an investigation has been opened

The disappearance of Mamayusuf Rakhmatullayev, an officer of the PPH and JTSB division of the Jizzakh district Department of Internal Affairs, has caused major public and social media attention. 

According to official data, Rakhmatullayev left for work on the morning of October 27 and did not return home afterward. Despite ongoing search efforts, his whereabouts remain completely unknown. Law enforcement agencies are examining all information regarding his routes, relatives, and individuals possibly connected to him.

It is also reported that on November 19, 2025, the Zafarobod district prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case against him under Article 168 of the Criminal Code — fraud.

He has still not been found. Investigative and search activities continue.
