The yearly repeated question — “Will Yulduz Usmonova appear at her daughter’s concert?” — drew great attention again. In an interview, Nilufar Usmonova openly and sincerely commented on this:
“My mother has her own work, her own concert schedule. She is a person who deserves respect. Of course, as a singer I would like her to come, but as a daughter I say: ‘let my mom rest’. This is my concert. Let people come to see me. My mother has never brought me on stage saying ‘here is my daughter’. Therefore, I perform myself for my own fans,” said Nilufar.

Going up onto the stage, she, while hugging Nilufar, performed sitting the song titled “My Mother” and sincerely congratulated her.
“Being the child of an artist is not easy. I did not bring her to this stage by holding her hand. She came out on her own. People trust artists: they set wedding dates, they put everything they have on their tables. We come after those people, I think you understand correctly. I am a servant of the people, and you are a servant of the people — both of us serve the nation. Stay healthy,” she said with warmth and sincerity.
At the end of her speech, Yulduz Usmonova expressed her emotions and affection to the audience by making a “heart” gesture with her hands.
This moment became one of the warmest and most memorable parts of the concert.
