Former Head of Veterinary Committee Appointed as Ahangaron Mayor


President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has issued a decree relieving Bahromjon Norkobilov from his position as Chairman of the Committee for Veterinary and Livestock Development. He has been appointed as the Hokim (Governor) of the Ahangaron district in Tashkent region.

Prior to Bahromjon Norkobilov, the position of Hokim of the Ahangaron district was held by Doniyor Madirimov. He served in this role from May 2024 until December of this year.

Bahromjon Norkobilov was born in 1973 in Kashkadarya region. He graduated from the Samarkand Institute of Agriculture.

Norkobilov led the Veterinary Committee from 2017 until December 2025.
