Women fined in Tashkent over road dispute

Based on the writ of execution of the Yunusabad District Court on criminal cases dated December 3, 2025, enforcement proceedings were initiated to recover material damage resulting from a road traffic accident.
According to the case materials, the incident occurred between two female drivers on the road. One of them did not yield the way to the other, resulting in a collision of vehicles. After the accident, the drivers got out of their cars and engaged in a dispute and argument with the words, “you should have given me the way.”
According to the court decision, the debtor G. was required to compensate the victim H. for material damage in the amount of 4,700,000 soums. This writ of execution was received by the Yunusabad District Department of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement on January 7, 2026.
It was established that the debtor had not insured the vehicle under mandatory insurance, so the damage was covered not by insurance but from the debtor’s personal funds.
During the enforcement proceedings, the debtor was fully informed of the legal requirements, and the amount of 4,700,000 soums was fully paid within the established period.
In addition, the court imposed administrative penalties on both female drivers for disturbing public order and engaging in a conflict after the road accident. Each of them was fined 2,060,000 soums, equivalent to five times the minimum monthly wage.
As a result, both the material damage and the administrative fines were fully recovered, and the enforcement documents were fully executed.
