A Japanese company plans to hire 5,000 workers from Uzbekistan

The prestigious Japanese company "Proud & Partners" is showing great interest in the labor market of Uzbekistan. As the company's president, Ryuji Suzuki, told the Dunyo news agency, it is planned to systematically and legally attract Uzbek specialists to eliminate the shortage of labor in the economy of the Land of the Rising Sun. To date, the company has managed to bring 5,000 foreigners to the Japanese market.
Demographic crisis and training system
In Japan, as a result of population aging and demographic decline, the shortage of personnel in the field of logistics and construction has intensified. To solve this problem, "Proud & Partners" chose the principle of training personnel in professions and languages in their homeland, and not "taking a ready-made specialist."
- Logistics: In the first stage of the project, truck drivers will be trained.
- Salary amount: For Uzbek drivers, the monthly salary is set at at least 2 thousand US dollars and above.
- Training Centers: Specialists will undergo advanced training at specialized centers before leaving for Japan and will be provided with a specific job.
Collaboration scale: From students to builders
The Japanese company highly appreciated the opportunities in Uzbekistan and decided to expand its initial plans.
- Connection with Higher Education: Training of personnel for the catering sector has begun jointly with Karakalpak State University. At the first stage, 100 specialists will be trained.
- Construction sector: Plans for training builders are being developed in cooperation with the Agency for External Labor Migration.
- Expansion: The initiative, which initially started as a 100-person project, has now moved to a practical phase of 500 people. In the future, it is planned to bring this figure to 5 thousand people.
Mutually beneficial business chain
Ryuji Suzuki emphasized that the company's goal is not just to relocate the workforce.
- New business projects: With the help of Uzbek personnel who have gained experience in Japan, Japanese companies will be assisted in opening their branches and business areas in Uzbekistan.
- Strategic partnership: This system strengthens economic ties between the two countries and creates a sustainable business chain.
This initiative serves as a golden bridge for Uzbek youth not only for high-paying jobs but also for learning Japan's advanced technologies and work culture.
In your opinion, what is the most attractive aspect of Uzbek personnel for Japanese employers - diligence or quick acquisition of new knowledge?
