Some Streets to Close in Tashkent for New Year Celebrations

In Tashkent, temporary restrictions on transportation will be implemented due to New Year celebration events. From December 15, 2025, to January 15, 2026, traffic will be halted in the area near the Uzbekistan National Library.

During this period, the section of Zarafshon Street between the control point near the Hyatt Regency Tashkent Hotel and Matbuotchilar Street, the section of Istiqbol Street between Amir Temur Avenue and Buyuk Turon Street, as well as the section of Buyuk Turon Street from Istiqbol Street to the Youth Creativity Palace, will be closed.

Starting from December 17, 2025, until January 5, 2026, restrictions will also be introduced on Taras Shevchenko Street.

During this time, the section of Fidokor Street from Nukus Street, as well as the section of Said Barak Street from Oybek Street to Amir Temur Avenue, will be closed to traffic.
