The meeting also discussed streamlining the operations of oil depots as well as optimizing the tax burden. Sanginov stressed that openness and transparency must be a priority in the workflow: fuel should reach the public without “grey” schemes, quality losses, or theft.
Abdugani Sanginov was appointed head of Uzbekneftegaz in December 2025. He replaced Bahodir Sidikov, who had led the company since March 2023.
