PSG won after Ramos's late goal

On November 1, PSG achieved a hard-fought victory over Nice in Ligue 1’s Matchday 11. In the match held at the Parc des Princes, the Parisians won 1-0.

The only goal of the game was scored in the final minutes of regular time by Gonçalo Ramos. PSG started the match actively and took the initiative from the very first minutes.

Barcola, Kvaratskhelia, and Vitinha created several dangerous attacks, but the visitors’ goalkeeper, Mehdi Diouf, managed to save the shots. In the second half, PSG increased the pressure and tested Nice’s defense, but shots from Vitinha and Ramos did not hit the target, with the ball rebounding off the post and crossbar several times.

Head coach Luis Enrique made changes to the lineup, bringing on Dembélé and Lee Kang-In to increase the tempo. Still, as time went on, the score remained unchanged.

In the 90th minute, PSG orchestrated a decisive attack. After a cross from the right wing, Ramos won the aerial duel and scored with a precise header.

Diouf could not save this shot — 1:0. This goal earned the Parisians three important points.
