According to Uzhydromet, temperatures across the country will gradually rise between December 23 and 25, reaching daytime averages of +5…+10 degrees Celsius. While winter is not yet over, the cold seems to be slowly receding.

On Monday, most parts of the country will experience clear skies, with only short-term precipitation in the form of rain or snow expected in mountainous and foothill areas during the day.

On December 23–24, no precipitation is anticipated in most regions. However, there is a chance of light snow in parts of the Tashkent region and the Fergana Valley on the night and morning of December 23.

For December 25–26, periodic precipitation, primarily in the form of snow, is forecasted for the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region. On December 26, some areas in the Tashkent region may also experience rainfall or snow, while other regions are expected to have relatively stable weather.

As for temperature conditions, nighttime lows will range between -3…+2 degrees Celsius. Daytime temperatures will warm to 0…+5 degrees Celsius on December 22, increasing to +5…+10 degrees Celsius between December 23–25. By December 26, daytime temperatures are expected to drop slightly to +2…+7 degrees Celsius.

The wind will mainly blow from the east with light to moderate intensity. In some areas, fog may form. On December 22–23, slippery conditions may be observed on roads, particularly in mountainous regions where caution is advised. There is also a persistent risk of snowfalls and avalanches in these areas.

In Tashkent city, predominantly dry weather is expected from December 22–25, with a slight chance of light snow on the night of December 23. Nighttime and morning fog are possible. Winds will blow at a speed of 3–8 m/s. Daytime temperatures will range from +2…+4 degrees Celsius on December 22, rising to +7…+9 degrees Celsius on December 23–25. On December 26, temperatures may drop slightly, accompanied by a chance of rain.

In summary, the beginning of the week will bring warmer conditions, but caution is still advised when traveling, particularly in mountainous areas.
