According to Forbes, the fight between blogger Jake Paul and WBA champion Gervonta Davis, which was scheduled to take place on November 14 in Miami, has been cancelled. This decision was made after Davis's ex-girlfriend filed a lawsuit accusing him of assault, causing serious bodily harm, unlawful imprisonment, and kidnapping.
This bout had been announced as the main event on the Netflix platform. The weight difference between the athletes had generated special interest: Davis competes in the category up to 65 kilograms, while Paul competes up to 90 kilograms.
It should be noted that Jake Paul founded his own promotion company, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), in 2021. In 2023, he fought professional boxer Tommy Fury, but lost.
