Jerrard Trent's Move to Real Madrid Understandable

Former Liverpool footballer Steven Gerrard has commented on ex-Reds defender Trent Alexander-Arnold's decision to continue his career at Real Madrid. According to Gerrard, every player has the right to determine their career path independently, and such decisions should not be judged unilaterally.

"I understand every player's right to make their own choices — it is their career. I would never criticize such decisions from a football perspective.

He probably played in one of the best teams in the club's history: the team won the Premier League, competed for victory in the Champions League. He had everything I dreamed of during my entire career.

Looking back, I realize he achieved something I couldn’t," Gerrard said, as quoted by Liverpool Echo. After transferring to Real Madrid, Trent has appeared in 16 matches and provided 3 assists for his teammates.
