Exciting news is emerging from the boxing world as the year approaches its end. Athletes nominated for the title of World Boxing Fighter of the Year 2025 have been officially announced. Among the nominees, the inclusion of two skillful athletes from Uzbekistan has brought particular joy to fans.
According to the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation, Uzbek boxers Javohir Ummataliyev and Fazliddin Erkinboyev have been listed as nominees for the World Boxing Fighter of the Year award. This recognition is regarded as another significant achievement for Uzbek boxing.

He claimed a silver medal at the Men’s World Championship held in Dubai, showcasing his talent on the international stage. Fazliddin Erkinboyev also delivered a commendable performance in the same tournament, winning a bronze medal.
Experts believe that the inclusion of these two boxers in the World Boxing list is no coincidence. Their technical skills, determination in fights, and high-level preparation did not go unnoticed by international experts.
