A Spanish chef and nutritionist joined the Uzbekistan national team

The Uzbekistan national team is taking preparations for the 2026 World Cup to a new level. According to the Football Association of Uzbekistan, a Spanish chef and a professional nutritionist were involved to effectively establish proper nutrition and physical recovery processes for the team's players.

This new approach contributes to the formation of a healthy lifestyle among football players, precise monitoring of their energy balance, and maintaining high physical fitness in every match. It is noted that the team's headquarters aimed to scientifically manage the players' diet and recovery processes through this step.

According to the coaching staff of the Uzbekistan national team, a correctly chosen diet and sports nutrition are of great importance not only for physical condition but also for psychological stability. Spanish specialists will analyze the individual needs of each player's body and implement a menu and diet program tailored to them.

The national team will participate in the international "Al Ain Cup" tournament, which will be held in November in Dubai, UAE. Along with Uzbekistan, the national teams of Iran, Egypt, and Cape Verde, who participated in the world championship, will also take part in the competition.

In the first match, the Uzbekistan team will play against the Egyptian team. All matches will be held at the "Hazza bin Zayed" stadium. Through these matches, the team is expected to gain valuable experience not only in sports but also functionally for the World Cup.

UFA officials emphasized that the players' healthy nutrition, recovery, and physical stability have become priorities - a foundation for future success.
