Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his wife Anna Hakobyan have put an end to their relationship

Today, February 17, the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Anna Hakobyan, made an important announcement on her Facebook page. She informed the public that her civil marriage with Nikol Pashinyan has officially ended.
In her statement, Hakobyan said the following:
“Dear compatriots, I inform you that my civil marriage with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has ended. I ask everyone to show respect, restraint and politeness regarding this matter.”
It is reported that she did not comment on the reasons for the end of the relationship, the circumstances that led to the separation, or other details related to her personal life. At present, no official statement or comment has been made by Nikol Pashinyan on this matter either.
We remind that in 2024, Anna Hakobyan and Nikol Pashinyan openly announced on their social media pages that they were not legally married. Although they had lived together for many years, their relationship continued only on the basis of a civil marriage.
It is noted that the couple lived together for more than 27 years and led a family life. At the same time, it had previously been made known to the public that their relationship had not been formalized by an official marriage.
At present, official comments are expected regarding this news, which has caused wide public discussion in Armenia.
