On February 16, a shooting occurred during a hockey tournament involving school teams in Potaket, Rhode Island. According to police, 3 people died as a result of the incident, and 3 more citizens were hospitalized in serious condition.
According to the preliminary findings of the investigation, the incident was "targeted" and could be related to a family disagreement. Police named 56-year-old Robert Dorgan as a suspect, who is said to be the father of one of the students who participated in the competition. According to reports, the suspect took his own life, and he is among the victims.
