According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, in 2025, a total of 3.3 million tons of melons were grown in Uzbekistan by all categories of farms. This figure increased by 16.2% compared to 2024.
In terms of regions, the highest result was recorded in the Jizzakh region - 430,634 tons. It was followed by Syrdarya region (417,796 tons) and Surkhandarya region (379,753 tons).
The following places are occupied by Kashkadarya region (286,325 tons) and Andijan region (269,432 tons). That is, the "first echelon" in the field is clear: there is both the harvest and the pace.
These figures indicate increased competition between regions in melon growing, while the market volume is increasing and supply is expanding. In short, the answer to the question "who grew more" during the melon season is ready - the leadership is currently in Jizzakh.
