Based on reports circulating on social networks about poor-quality repair of internal roads in the territory of Navoi region, in particular, in the "Kiziltepa" mahalla of Navbakhor district, the Transport Control Inspectorate conducted an on-site study.
According to the results of the preliminary inspection, it turned out that the asphalt-concrete pavement laid for a total of 8,134 kilometers does not fully meet the requirements of the current project. In particular, the coating layer was laid unevenly, its thickness and degree of compaction did not meet the established norms.
Also, during laboratory tests, it was established that the water absorption and compaction indicators of the asphalt pavement deviated from regulatory requirements.
Materials compiled on the identified shortcomings and circumstances were sent to the responsible agencies for legal assessment in the prescribed manner.
